I do not print the manufacturer on the catalogue, because I source each order against your requirement rather than from one brand. The manufacturer, country of origin, rated life and warranty are all stated in the quote, before you decide anything. If you need an OEM part, say so and I will quote that instead. Sapphire plunger rod for the Agilent 1220, 1260 and 1290, cross-referenced to 5067-4695. These are the later pump heads, and on a 1290 running near its pressure ceiling the plunger and seal both wear faster than the same parts in an 1100 ever did, so the service interval that suited your old stack will not suit this one. Inspect the rod when the seal is changed. A scored band where the seal rides means both parts go together, whatever the hours say.

PEEK needle seat, 0.17 mm internal diameter, cross-referenced to G1329-87017. The bore is the thing to get right: 0.17 mm is the standard analytical seat, and the narrower 0.12 mm version exists for low dispersion work at small injection volumes. Fitting the wrong one costs you peak shape rather than function, so it fails quietly. PEEK is softer than a stainless seat, which makes it forgiving of slight needle misalignment and shorter lived under heavy use.

Needle seat, 0.12 mm internal diameter, cross-referenced to G1329-87012. The narrow bore version, for low dispersion work where the extra volume of a 0.17 mm seat would broaden an early eluting peak. If you run conventional 4.6 mm columns at normal injection volumes you probably want the wider seat instead, since the narrow bore blocks more easily on particulates. Check what is fitted before ordering, because the two look alike and only the bore differs.

Needle assembly for the Agilent 1100 and 1200 autosampler, cross-referenced to G1313-87201. The complete assembly rather than the needle alone, which is the easier repair if the needle has been bent and you are not certain the mount survived it. A bent needle damages the seat it lands in, so inspect the seat at the same time and plan on changing both if the instrument has run a long time. Carryover a stronger wash will not shift usually means the tip.

Injection needle, 900 uL, cross-referenced to G1313-87202. The 900 uL designation refers to the metering device this belongs with, not the injection volume you use day to day, so match it to the injector rather than to your method. The needle tip seals against the seat on every injection, and a blunted tip both leaks and scores the seat below it, which turns a cheap part into two. Inspect the seat whenever the needle is changed.

Metering piston for the injector, 900 uL, cross-referenced to 5062-8587. A scored piston leaks past its seal, which gives injection volumes that read low and drift through a sequence. Replace the metering seal at the same time. A scored piston is usually what destroyed the seal in the first place, and a new seal running against the old piston repeats the fault within a few hundred injections. Before ordering either, inject one standard several times and look at area precision rather than retention. Areas drifting with retention steady points at the metering device.

This is the injector seal, not the pump one, and it fails into volume rather than pressure: areas that read low and drift down through a sequence while retention stays exactly where it was. Precision goes before accuracy. Inspect the metering piston when you change this, because a scored piston is usually what destroyed the seal, and a new seal running against the old piston repeats the fault within a few hundred injections.

Sapphire plunger for Agilent 1100 and 1200 pumps

Sapphire plunger for the Agilent 1100 and 1200 pump head, cross-referenced to 5063-6586. Sapphire does not wear evenly against a seal. It develops a scored band exactly where the seal rides, and that band is what destroys the next seal you fit. Take the plunger out when you change a seal and look along it under magnification with a light behind it. A ring you can catch a fingernail on means both parts go. Fitting a new seal to a scored plunger buys a few hundred injections, not a service interval.

Plunger seal for the metering device, cross-referenced to 5022-2175. This is the injector seal rather than the pump one, so it fails differently: instead of pressure ripple you get injection volumes that read low and areas that drift downward across a sequence while retention stays put. Precision goes before accuracy does. If your standard is losing area with every repeat injection and the pump is behaving, this is where I would look. Inspect the metering piston at the same time, since a scored piston is usually what killed the seal.

Wash seal for Agilent 1100 and 1200 pumps

Wash seal for the Agilent 1100 and 1200 pump, cross-referenced to 0905-1175. It sits behind the main piston seal and its job is to keep the wash solvent where it belongs, so it fails quietly: no pressure fault, just solvent appearing under the pump head or salt creeping up the plunger. That salt is what shortens the life of the seal in front of it. If you are replacing piston seals more often than the interval suggests, change this one and check the wash flow before you blame the seals.

Seal wash kit for Agilent 1100 and 1200 pumps

Seal wash kit for the Agilent 1100 and 1200, cross-referenced to G1310-68731. Seal wash is the maintenance that gets switched off and forgotten, and it is the single cheapest thing that extends piston seal life on a pump running buffers. Without it, salt crystallises on the plunger between runs and grinds the seal from the back. If you run phosphate or any high salt mobile phase and you are not washing, fitting this will save you more in seals than it costs. Use the wash solvent the manual specifies, not water alone.

Rotor seal, Vespel, 2-groove, for Agilent 1100 and 1200

Two groove Vespel rotor seal for the Agilent 1100 and 1200 injection valve, cross-referenced to 0100-1853. Count the grooves on the seal you take out before ordering, because the two groove and the standard pattern are not interchangeable and the valve body will accept the wrong one physically. Vespel is a polyimide, so it tolerates most solvents and dislikes high pH: mobile phases above about pH 10 shorten its life noticeably. A scored seal shows up as carryover first and injection precision second.

Vespel rotor seal for the Agilent 1100 and 1200 manual injection valve, cross-referenced to 0101-0623 and to the Rheodyne 7125 family. The seal is the wear part in the valve and the stator is not, so unless the stator face is damaged this is the only piece that should need replacing. Grooves worn into the seal let mobile phase cross between ports under pressure, which is why the symptom is carryover and a sample loop that never quite fills. Check the pH history of the method before assuming the seal was simply old.

Rotor seal for the 600 bar two position six port valve on the Agilent 1200 and 1260, cross-referenced to 0101-1416. The pressure rating is the thing to get right here. A 600 bar valve seal and a 400 bar one look similar and are not the same part, and fitting the lower rating into a system that runs near its ceiling gives you a seal that leaks internally within weeks. Check the valve part number rather than the system badge, because both pressure classes appear across the 1200 and 1260 range.

Sapphire plunger for Shimadzu SIL autosamplers and the LC-2010, cross-referenced to 228-35010-91. This is the autosampler plunger rather than the pump one, and the two are different parts despite looking alike, so check where the fault actually is before ordering. An autosampler plunger wears into injection volume error and carryover, not into pressure ripple. If your pressure trace is clean and your areas are drifting, you are in the right place; if the ripple is on the pump, you want the pump plunger.

Plunger holder for Shimadzu LC-20AD and LC-2010 pumps

Plunger holder for the LC-20AD and LC-2010 pump, cross-referenced to 228-35602-91. The holder is what keeps the plunger square to the seal, and it is the part nobody suspects. A worn or distorted holder lets the plunger run slightly off axis, which wears the seal unevenly and gives you a pump that keeps failing on one channel however many seals you fit. If you are on your third seal in a year on the same head, stop buying seals and look at this instead.

PTFE diaphragms for Shimadzu LC-20AD and LC-2010, 2 per pack

PTFE diaphragms for the LC-20AD and LC-2010, two per pack, cross-referenced to 228-24311-01. These sit in the degasser rather than the pump head. A perished diaphragm stops the degasser holding vacuum, and the symptom is dissolved gas reaching the pump: erratic pressure, a baseline that will not settle, and check valves that appear to be failing when they are only passing bubbles. Worth ruling out before you order valve cartridges, since it is the cheaper part and the more common cause of that particular pattern.

Needle seal, Vespel, for Shimadzu LC-2010 and SIL-10ADvp

Vespel needle seal for the LC-2010 and SIL-10ADvp, cross-referenced to 228-33355-04. Vespel is the harder of the two materials Shimadzu uses here and it lasts longer, but it is less forgiving of a needle that is not perfectly aligned, and it dislikes high pH mobile phases. If your method runs above about pH 9 the PEEK version is usually the better choice. A worn seal leaks at injection, and the symptom is low and slightly variable areas rather than an obvious failure.

PEEK needle seal for the LC-2010 AHT and ACHT, cross-referenced to 228-41540-01. PEEK is the softer of the two options, which makes it more tolerant of slight needle misalignment and better suited to high pH methods where Vespel degrades. The trade is a shorter working life under heavy use. Choose on your mobile phase rather than on price: if you run alkaline buffers, this is the one, and if you run a lot of injections at moderate pH, the Vespel version will outlast it.

Injection needle for the LC-2010, uncoated, 10 Series, cross-referenced to 228-41024-91. Uncoated is worth noting, because a coated needle is the usual answer to sample carryover with sticky or basic compounds, and this is not that part. A blunted or bent tip damages the needle seal below it, so if the needle has done a lot of injections, plan to change both. Carryover that a stronger wash does not fix, on a needle that has been in for years, usually means the tip rather than the wash.

Seal wash piston seals for the UltiMate 3000 pump, two per pack, cross-referenced to 6040.0033. These are the rear seals in the wash system rather than the main high pressure seals, and they are the ones that get overlooked. When they go you see wash solvent where it should not be and, eventually, main seals that fail early because salt is reaching them from behind. Order in pairs and change both, because a dual piston head with one new seal and one old one gives you an uneven ripple that is harder to diagnose than the original fault.

Viper fittings are finger tight by design and that is the part people get wrong: over tightening with a tool deforms the cone and produces exactly the dead volume the fitting exists to avoid.
