Seal wash kit for the Agilent 1100 and 1200, cross-referenced to G1310-68731. Seal wash is the maintenance that gets switched off and forgotten, and it is the single cheapest thing that extends piston seal life on a pump running buffers. Without it, salt crystallises on the plunger between runs and grinds the seal from the back. If you run phosphate or any high salt mobile phase and you are not washing, fitting this will save you more in seals than it costs. Use the wash solvent the manual specifies, not water alone.

Deuterium lamp for the Agilent 1100, 1200, 1220 and 1260 diode array, cross-referenced to 2140-0820 and 2140-0813. Two numbers appear for this position and both are listed, but read the one on the lamp you are removing rather than ordering by system name, because the badge on the stack does not tell you which bench you have. This is the older 3-pin family, not the 8-pin Max-Light lamp used in the G7117 detectors. Getting those two confused is the commonest wrong order on this instrument.

Aftermarket deuterium lamp for the Agilent G4212A, G4212B, G7117A, G7117B, see the full fitment list above, cross-referenced to 5190-0917. A diode array reads the whole spectrum on every cycle. Deuterium output falls fastest in the deep UV, so a method running at 210 nm loses sensitivity long before one running at 254 nm does.

Deuterium lamp for Agilent 1100 and 1200 VWD (G1314A/B/C)

Deuterium lamp for the Agilent variable wavelength detectors, G1314A, B and C, cross-referenced to G1314-60100. A VWD reads one wavelength at a time, so it hides lamp ageing in a way a diode array does not: everything looks normal until the wavelength you happen to run goes noisy. Run the lamp energy test on a schedule rather than waiting for a symptom. Note that some Agilent modules expect a lamp carrying an RFID tag and will flag one without; the chip status for this part is in the specification above.

Sapphire plunger rod for Agilent 1220, 1260 and 1290

Sapphire plunger rod for the Agilent 1220, 1260 and 1290, cross-referenced to 5067-4695. These are the later pump heads, and on a 1290 running near its pressure ceiling the plunger and seal both wear faster than the same parts in an 1100 ever did, so the service interval that suited your old stack will not suit this one. Inspect the rod when the seal is changed. A scored band where the seal rides means both parts go together, whatever the hours say.
