Two things are sold here. Branded manufacturer lines are supplied as a reseller, with the brand, the part number and the documentation stated on the page. Everything else is sourced against your requirement, where the manufacturer, country of origin and warranty are stated in the quote. Either way Chromkit invoices you in Canadian dollars, and on a branded line the goods ship inside Canada with no customs entry on your side. Before you move a validated method onto a different sorbent, ask for samples and run the comparison.

SiliaChrom HPLC Column, dt C18

USP L1, and that is the line that matters in a QC lab. A compendial monograph names the packing by L code rather than by brand, so an L1 column of the right dimensions is a legitimate substitution. That gets you in the door. System suitability decides whether it actually runs, because two L1 columns can separate quite differently. Beyond the code, it is built to hold hydrophilic compounds that elute at the solvent front on an ordinary C18, because it takes 100 percent aqueous without the phase collapse. Spherical silica, 99.999 percent pure at 100 Å, so trace metal will not tail your phosphates. Endcapped. One limit: 4.6 mm only, at 3 and 5 micron.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, Amine

An amino phase, used in normal phase and for carbohydrate separations, where it is the conventional column for sugars run with acetonitrile and water. One thing to know before you commit a method to it. The amine group reacts with reducing sugars and with aldehydes to form a Schiff base, so the column loses capacity in exactly the application it is most often bought for. Plan on a shorter working life than a bonded reversed phase column, and factor a replacement into the cost of the method.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, C18

The default reversed phase column, 4.6 mm internal diameter at 5 and 3 micron. That is the format USP and compendial monograph methods are written around, so it is the column to quote when a QC lab is running a method it cannot change. Check the dimension before you order. This line has no 2.1 mm columns and nothing below 3 micron, so if your method runs on LC-MS at 2.1 mm, or on a UHPLC system at sub 2 micron, this is not the column for it.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, C8

C8 rather than C18, so retention is lower and a strongly retained compound elutes in a weaker solvent and in less time. Useful when a C18 method runs long, and for hydrophobic analytes where C18 needs an organic percentage high enough to cause trouble elsewhere in the method. Same dimensional limit as the C18. 4.6 mm at 5 and 3 micron only, so it suits conventional HPLC with UV detection rather than an LC-MS method at 2.1 mm.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, Cyano

A weakly polar phase that will run in either normal or reversed phase, which makes it a quick way to test a different selectivity without changing the system over. Retention in reversed phase is low, so it suits compounds that C18 holds for too long. Cyano phases are historically the least stable of the common bondings, and lifetime is shorter than a C18 in the same conditions, so it is worth confirming the method really needs this selectivity before it goes into routine use.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, PFP

Pentafluorophenyl. Retention here is not hydrophobicity alone. The fluorinated ring adds dipole and pi interactions, which is why a PFP column separates positional isomers and halogenated compounds that co elute on C18, and why it holds small polar bases that C18 lets through with the solvent front. It is not a drop in replacement for a C18 method. Retention responds more strongly to the organic percentage and to buffer choice, so a method moved onto PFP needs re optimising rather than transferring.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, Phenyl

A phenyl ring rather than an alkyl chain, so aromatic analytes are retained by pi interaction as well as by hydrophobicity. That is a genuinely different selectivity from C18, and it is what to try when two aromatic compounds co elute and changing the gradient has not separated them. For non aromatic analytes it gives less retention than C18 and no compensating selectivity, so it is the wrong column for a saturated compound.

SiliaChrom Plus HPLC Column, Silica

Bare silica run in normal phase, for compounds that will not retain on a reversed phase column and for samples already dissolved in an organic solvent. It gives a selectivity a C18 cannot, because retention comes from polar interaction rather than from hydrophobicity. The cost is equilibration. Normal phase retention shifts with the water content of the mobile phase, so a column that has not been given time to settle produces retention times that drift through a sequence. If your lab cannot control that, a reversed phase column will be easier to keep in specification.
