You buy it from Chromkit and we invoice you, so your contract and your warranty are with us. Installation, a service contract and parts are available too, quoted separately, so one supplier looks after the instrument once it is on your bench.

HP 5890 Series II gas chromatograph, used

The HP 5890 Series II is the GC a lot of chemists learned on, and many are still running. This one has two inlets with manual pneumatics, which means no electronic pressure control and very little to go wrong. It suits a teaching lab, a simple FID method, or a lab that wants a spare body. The photograph is the actual unit. Before we quote we check the detectors fitted and whether the oven heats and holds temperature. If it has an ECD, that detector contains a radioactive source and cannot be sold without the right licence, so we will tell you if that applies.
