This is an aftermarket part, not an original manufacturer part. Instrument names and part numbers identify what it fits and replaces; they remain the trademarks of their owners. The manufacturer, country of origin, rated life and warranty are stated in the quote, before you decide anything. If you need the OEM part, say so and I will quote that instead.

Deuterium lamp for PUXI T6 spectrophotometer

Deuterium lamp for the PUXI T6. This is a single beam bench, which is worth knowing, because a single beam instrument shows lamp ageing sooner and more honestly than a double beam one: with no reference channel to absorb it, drift appears directly in your readings. Warm the instrument up properly and re-zero before you conclude the lamp is finished. If the baseline settles after twenty minutes and holds, you probably have some life left in it.

Check this before you order

L6312-53 is the supplier's own catalogue number. The manufacturer of the T6 does not publish an equivalent part number, so there is no OEM cross-reference to check this against. Send me the number printed on the lamp you are removing and I will confirm the match before quoting.

Before you order: if the instrument is misbehaving, tell me the symptom, not the part number. Lamps and seals get replaced for problems they did not cause. The first look costs nothing, and if this part is not the fix, I will say so.
